The project brief
The homeowners of the property on Lucerne Road enquired about a full bathroom and kitchen renovation with us, with the main objective being to refresh the entire look and feel of both spaces. They felt that in each room, the decor and styling no longer served their preferences, and that there was room for improvement in terms of the layout.
What we did
As per our pre-construction support, we gained an initial understanding of the scope of work to be completed, and our project management expertise allowed us to map out a viable approach to transform each space in the property. Our technical design expertise, combined with meticulous architectural drawings and construction details, ensured a seamless transformation process. Once we were happy with the final brief, we shared our vision with the client and they felt that everything presented both matched and built upon their expectations. Throughout the project, the client was kept informed by an appointed project manager, detailing everything from the construction process to the overall project timeline.
The construction element of the project included internal works and interior design input to update the overall aesthetic of the building. The team focused on restoring and accentuating the original features of the property, such as high ceilings, original fireplaces, and ornate mouldings. The internal works included updates to the plumbing and electrical systems, and the installation of new flooring, walls, and ceilings.
The outcome
The project outcome involved a total revamp of the bathroom and kitchen, and our expertise enabled us to add plenty of new value to each room. In the kitchen, we introduced a new lease of modernity through an updated layout, sleek, updated fixtures, and bespoke joinery. The colour scheme we opted for created a brighter, more appealing space, and we incorporated multi-purpose areas within the space, giving the client so much more from the room. In the bathroom, we opted for a stripped-back yet elegant decor theme, and the centrepiece of the room was the standalone bath.
