The project brief
The brief for our residential renovation project, Queens Bridge Road in Dalston, London, was to create a home extension and a complete internal refurbishment. The client wanted us to focus on restoring and accenturing the home’s original victorian features such as the high ceilings and fireplace, while also making sure the internal works were properly modernised.
What we did
Our work on Queens Bridge Road started with the help of our pre-construction team. This included developing an architectural design concept for the extension, submitting any planning permission forms to the local council, and creating detailed moodboards in reference to the client’s brief.
Following the completion of this, we began the internal works of the home with the help of our experienced construction team. This involved modernising the electrical systems and plumbing, alongside the installation of new flooring, walls and ceilings. To complete this, our construction team had to work seamlessly with our technical team to make sure the client's vision of the home was carried out appropriately, meaning all of the original features of the property were enhanced. This included restoring the properties stunning original Victorian features such as high ceilings, fireplaces and ornate mouldings.
Once the building work was finished, our interior designers collaborated with the client to create an entire home refurbishment inspired by the glamorous decor of the regency era.
Our work was finished with the final snag review, which allowed us to address any queries or concerns the client had and rectify them. Ensuring our client leaves with a happy and positive experience with our services is always our main priority, and our projects are always completed to a perfect standard.
The outcome
The outcome was a professional home extension and complete interior refurbishment that met the client’s expectations and highlighted the properties stunning Victorian features.
